Robotic Surgery is a new technology and requires extensive training for surgeons, anesthesiologists and other team members.
Training with a surgical robot is a very expensive proposition. However, the Centre of Excellence for Surgical Education & Innovation (CESEI) has identified a virtual reality technology to enhance the training of surgical teams at a low cost.
CESEI is organizing a demonstration of a state-of-the-art virtual reality technology specifically designed for the Da Vinci Robot on Thursday, May 3rd, 2007.
CESEI welcomes interestd individuals to attend.
