Congratulations to Dr. Paul Kliffer

Message from Dr. Brian Warriner (Head of the UBC Deparment of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics):

Dear Colleagues,

I am very pleased to notify you that another anesthesiologist in our faculty has been recognized for his superior skill as a teacher of medical student undergraduates. Dr. Paul Kliffer has received a Letter of Recognition of Teaching Excellence from the Medical Undergraduate Society and the UBC Class of 2007. Dr. Kliffer has been recognized within our own faculty as a superb teacher and in 2005 received university-wide recognition for his expertise in clinical teaching. The two recent announcements indicating recognition of anesthesiologists with excellent teaching skills, is an indication of the great involvement of many individuals across our faculty in supporting both medical student and resident education.

Special congratulations go out to Dr. Kliffer and I look forward to working with him actively in the future.
