This workshop provides an essential framework and fundamental principles of initial assessment and management of trauma patients and is intended as an introduction for Basic Trauma Resuscitation Skills for students and draws on the Advanced Trauma Life Support® program for physicians.
   The workshop will provide participants with small group, ‘hands on’ simulation of head and spinal trauma and an opportunity to practice assessment and management skills using Emergency care Simulator (ECS, METI) under the direction of an instructor
