Effective Communication, the ability of the healthcare providers to work as a team and to share the patient information in an efficient and reliable manner is essential for the delivery of high quality, safe patient care. Only few can master effective Communication without special tuition and constant attention to its effectiveness, therefore, as any other skills, effective Communication skills must be taught and practiced. The best environment where all conditions for effective Communication skills teaching and practicing can be fulfilled is Simulation Environment. In this hands-on workshop we will actively involve the participants in the Simulation training using Emergency Care Simulator (ECS, METI) in order to provide the framework and strategy for Communication skills teaching in Interdisciplinary curriculum. Participants will be able to create a proper teaching environment with simulation scenarios representing conditions of real clinical situations and, also, provide the appropriate feedback to students on their communication skills.
